We made it!! The travel was rough but the sunshine and beach is more than worth it. We both are accustomed to the nice shade of brown that Galveston bay has to offer. This water is blue, clear and does not smell like rotting seaweed. We both love the resort! How could you not when there are free roaming iguanas, peacocks and flamingos?
We ventured off the island over to Playa del Carmen and had some great tacos including drinks for less than 5 bucks for the both of us. It really does not get much better than that. It was the fuel we needed for the Cenotes.
At night, we decided to put the gopro to the test. I am by no means a photographer and am 100% new to the gopro but I am pretty proud of some of the shots we got.
